Arestiri is a constitutional monarchy headed by King Rolof Yerhonarin and governed by a military junta that took power in June 2314, located in Otechestvo. It consists of seven states and two federal territories and has a total landmass of 4,878,800 square kilometres (3,031,546 sq mi). Arestiri shares land border with Greater Cerberussy and Tcardom of Rodina. Cazz is both the capital city and the seat of the federal government. In 2314 the population was 193.40 million.
Arestiri has its origins in the kingdoms of Artan and Drojan - former United Kingdom states. The two kingdoms unified and became an inpenedent state on 10 May 2314, following a referendum that passed with 78.68% of the vote. It is a GIF member state
The constitution declares Rodinian Orthodox the state religion while protecting freedom of religion. The legal system is based on common law.

2314 coup d'etat[]
Main article: 2314 Arestirin coup d'etat
On 21 June 2314 the Arestirin army declared martial law, however denied that this was a coup attempt and began to deploy troops in the capital. On 23 June, the Army announced that it was a coup and that it was taking control of the country and suspending the country's constitution.
