Federal Election was held on 31 August 2024 to determine the members of the Australian Parliament for 2024-2027. All 152 seats in the House of Representatives and 40 of 76 seats in the Senate were up for election.

Despite the loss of a number of major seats in the House, the incumbent government led by the Tony Burke-run Labor Party remained in power, winning against the Liberal National opposition led by newly elected leader Stuart Robert.
