The 6th Infantry Division is an infantry division of the Royal Union Army. It was formed in 2001 after the joining of some regiments from the former armies of Sweden and Norway specialized in artic and mountain warfare. Some new units were added to reach the current structure. It is headquartered in Tromsø.
