The Benelux Self-Defense Forces consists of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The service branches consist of:

The highest ranking officer in the Benelux Self-Defense Forces is the Chief of Defense Staff, who answers to the Minister of Defense, Hans Hillen, and His Royal Majesty's Defense Council. The BSDF is limited to the defense of the Union, and is not known for any foreign deployments apart from peacekeeping operations.



His Royal Majesty's Army is the ground arm of the Self-Defense Forces. It currently has 30,000 soldiers and 12,000 civilian staff.

His Royal Majesty's Navy is the naval arm of the Self-Defense Forces and mainly acts as a coast guard or marine police for the Union of Benelux. The Navy currently has 3,000 personnel and X vessels. All HRM Navy vessels are prefixed with HRMSB (i.e. His Royal Majesty's Ship - Benelux).

His Royal Majesty's Air Force is the air force of Benelux. It currently has 10,000 personnel.

His Royal Majesty's Police is the law enforcement agency responsible for the Union of Benelux, as well as the military police component of the Self-Defense Force. The BSDF runs the police, which is divided into two components itself: the Federal Police and the Local Police.
