The Commonwealth of Carolina is a state in Southeastern United States. Carolina borders Virginia in the north, Georgia in the south and Tennessee to the west. Carolina is the 13th largest state in the United States, and is the 5th largest state in population terms.
In 1729 the Province of Carolina was instead of being seperated into North and South Carolina, the state prioperty instead gave the current state of Tennesse to the crown. When the situation in Carolina between its citizens and proprietors began to deteriorate even more in 1736 when several riots sprung up on May 6th, called the Carolina Uprising, the Crown was forced to grant Carolina into a Crown Colony. In 1776, Carolina was one of the 13 original colonies (Tennessee was established as it own Crown Colony at the time) that rebelled against the Kingdom of Great Britain to win itself it's own independence.
