The Columbian Crisis was an event in North America which started shortly after the establishment of the United States of Columbia, when the country was involved in two wars and had an emergency election, leading to the highly disputed win of an opposition candidate. The Crisis eventually led to the restitution of the Republic of West Virginia and the creation of two states popularly known as East Columbia (former Eastern Columbian states minus Appalachia) and West Columbia (Washington, Idaho, Oregon and North California).
