Curonia Consists of the Curonian Baltic Socialist Republic and her two Autonomous Regions; New Curonia and Curonian Gambia. Curonia was re-established by the population of her former colonies who had continuously been pressuring the First Latvian Republic to re-establish the Curonian Autonomous Region and accept the Curonian Union as Autonomous Regions of Curonia. This ultimately failed when a government referendum took place in 1929. During world war 2 and the Soviet occupation of the Baltics all attempts to negotiate with the Stalin Regime for Unification failed. Once Joseph Stalin passed in 1954 the Curonian Union was almost instantly accepted as two individual ASSRs of the Curonian SSR.
