The Department of Security is a South American department that has designated control over the law enforcement agencies of the UFSA. They maintain national threat level, and they also controlled things such as the SulWatch or the ever infamous SAJTF. They are operated out of Sao Paulo, Brazil Region. The Dep. Sec. also controls the incarceration centers and the national police. Other activities include patrols around the country, protecting small towns, and monitoring protests for law breakers.

OperationsEdit

The Department of Security controls incarceration centers, starts advisories for certain groups, patrols the border, and monitors national protests. They also serve higher than all public safety units in the UFSA, but do not posses any form of weaponry. The DoS uses a check and balance system with the UFSA Department of Peace. The DoS was formerly in control of the groups SulWatch and the SAJTF, but all information on the groups was disclosed, and both groups disbanded. The DoS still maintains the actions of the NWS, but does not control any form of police group to deal with listed threats. All information on the SAJTF and SulWatch was released as per UFSA Paz Act.
