Douglas Marrick (b. March 7, 1964, Aberdeen, Scotland) is the current Manager of the Georgeland National Football Team. Marrick, born in Aberdeen, Scotland formerly played for the Scottish national side from 1990 until 1997, and also played in England and Germany for clubs Liverpool and Bayern Munich from 1987-1994 and 1994-1999 respectively. After a leg injury, Marrick retired from professional football. He was selected to replace David Berkowitz as the national coach in 2004. His selection was somewhat contraversial because he had never visited Georgeland prior to his appointment. Under Marrick's leadership, the Georgeland team failed to make it to the 2006 World Cup; it is not expected that his contract will be terminated before its expiry in 2009, however.
