The Eshnal, like other Middle Thietian tribes, are descended from people who lived in northwest Thietia. The yinhabited a largely unhospitable region which was very dry and hot. Like their immediate neighbors, they began to settle down and create settlements from mud and sand bricks (ca. 3000 BC). Around that time they carved massive drawings in the desert depicting people and animals; these most likely represent their story of arriving there.
