Copa Cabana International Airport is the head airport of the Draguan Islands, located west of Copa Cabana. It has currently 4 runways, while a new runway is made on the south side of the airport.
History[]
Copa Cabana International Airport began as Copa Cabana Airfield in 1942, when troops from the Draguan Islands had to be transported to the European mainland to defeat the Axis. In 1947, the airport was converted to a civilian-level airport, and began to grow rapidly as new terminals were built and new runways were added. In 2004, a fourth terminal was added, meant for worldwide arrivals and departures.
