The Bailiwick of Victoria is a state within the Union of Secundian States within the continent of Ptolemy. Originally created by the British Crown Colonisation Society centred around its capital Londimium in 2115 the colony was backed by the government of the United Kingdom, retaining its monarch.
Victoria is governed as a devolved parliamentary constitutional monarchy with the Victorian Conservative Party and Labour Committee (not to be confused with Labour Party) holding a coalition government. Victoria has a developed welfare economy centred around finances, research and industrial manufacturing (such as coal and steel).
Currently the majority of Victoria's population is of British descent, although there has be a substantial amount of immigration from South Asians and Chinese. Victoria is currently suffering from racial divisions, trade union action and riots. However it is also experiencing a population and economic boom and is a centre for Anglo-British culture in Secundus.
