Brunel Tower, also known as 'The Spiral' by local residents, is a large skyscraper located in Brunel Plaza, in Central Bristol. Constructed in 2006 as part of the National Quay development, the tower is the tallest in Wessex at 288 metres (945 ft), with a total of 64 floors. The tower was funded by several Economic Development Corporations, including that of Wessex and Saudi Arabia. Currently the tower is the headquarters of the Bristol Corporation, aswell as the Bristol Office of the Royal Kernow Bank
