A rocket being launched
Fortuna Space Center is the the headquarters of the Europa Space Agency. It is located in central Sardinia. The FSC is the site where the multitude of satellites, WARSAT's and rockets were launched into space. The modules for the Orbital Space Station were also launched from here aboard U.S. made rockets.
History[]
The FSC began construction in 1970 and was completed in 1972. In 1973 its sent its first communication satellite. In 1963, Miroslav Radek became the first Europan in space. In 1970, two men were landed on the moon.
