Francesco Pierno is an Agian politician who has been President of The Waves since 10th October 2013. Pierno was born in El Caldero, San Diego on 24th August 1956. Like his father, Pierno served as Chief Minister before becoming President. He graduated from Rockington University in 1977.
Pierno met Mimi Amada (1972), a prominent Agian musician, in 1991 and the couple married later that year. The couple has two sons Avotra (1992) and Yoel (1994), who have both followed their mother into the music industry.

Francesco Pierno was born in El Caldero, San Diego on 24th August to father, then Chief Minister, Milton Pierno and his ballet dancer wife, Hellen.
Early political career[]
Pierno joined the National People's Party shortly after graduating from Rockington University in 1977.
Governor of San Diego and Pedro[]
Pierno was elected Governor of San Diego and Pedro to succeed outgoing two-term Conservative Democratic governor, Reuben Ayala, who chose not to seek a third term in 1982, defeating former Mayor of Mitera, Marcia Melendez. Wilson was sworn in as governor on 17th July, 1982. Pierno served two terms, electing to stand in the 1990 Ministerial Elections, rather than running for a third term.

Pierno was succeeded as Leader of the National People's Party by Elodia Waters and as Prime Minister by Alberto Russell in July 2006, following Russell's successful campaign in the 2006 Chief Ministerial Elections.
