The 1955 Howland presidential election was the second sexennial presidential election to be held in Howland. It took place on Saturday, June 26, 1955, with the winner scheduled to be inaugurated as the second President of Howland on August 15, 1955. Elections to both chambers of the National Assembly of Howland, the House of Representatives and the Senate, were held on the same day.

The 1955 election was the first held fully pursuant to the method explained in the Constitution of Howland, and thus the first in which candidates were nominated by the members of the National Assembly and Local Government Councils, and in which the Electoral Commission of Howland played a role in tabulating the results.

Four candidates contested the election: Nathaniel Walker, John Grissom, Jesse Rogan and Lionel Abbott.

Nathaniel Walker was ultimately elected the second President of Howland. Grissom finished in second place.
