Air Chief Marshall Louis William Branson, COG (b. November 5, 1947) is a former Chief of Staff for the United Islands Defence Force. He is a career officer in the United Islands Air Force. Branson became Chief of Staff in 2002 and completed his four-year term in July 2006.
Branson graduated from the Defence Force Academy of Georgeland in 1969. He rose through the ranks quite quickly, and became an Air Marshall in 1994. In 1997 he was promoted to Air Chief Marshall and made Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
Branson was made UIDF Chief of Staff in 2002 on the retirement of Admiral Peter Molloy. He was made a Commander of the Order of Georgeland in the same year.
