Morochan (Morochan: t'leng Maraçai) is the official lanuguage of the Morochan People's Republic. Morochan is an isolated branch language that belongs to the Indo-European laguage family.
Vocabulary and Phonetic Influence
Morochan's phonology and vocabulary has been heavily influenced by the Turkic languages, particularly Crimean Tatar and to an lesser extent by Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Old Romanian, Hungarian and many others through it's history.
There is also some documented evidence that proto-Morochan had a Caucasian substratum, similar to proto-Armenian, during the Voreioian tribes' settlements in the Kartvelian Kingdom of Colchis, which consits of loans from the Kartvelian and Northeast and Northwest Cacausian languages, along with a few Hurro-Uratian loans. A few of them had been identified such as tuka "clay" ( ← Georg.თიხის tikhis ), šama "wall" ( ← Hurr.šuḫni ) & tega "praise" ( ← Avar. таги tagi)
It also had a very persistent but detable non-Indo-European substrate in the form of a Mediterranean lingua franca that was an possible ancestor of the Basque language. Some words with unclear origins such as buzge "log", nanta "thunderstorm" & arbü "diamond" were probably or not had any Mediterranean origins.
