Murserist Domainism flag

The flag commonly used by supporters of Murserist domainism

Murserist domainism is the belief that Murserists ought to establish their own independent state. The primary justification of such a state is found in the Kirvian passage, wherein Setogh alludes that his followers will create their own nation.

"My children shall find their home. They shall find lifeless pastures and make them prosperous. They shall do this out of reverence for Me, and for the benefit of the righteous, the pious, and the noble" (Kirvia 44:16:2)

Other motivations for a Murserist state exist as well, including the increasing hostility, both real and perceived, against Murserists in Lurberas. Murserists Represented, the largest Murserist-interest party, has not taken an official position on Murserist domainism but many high-profile members have expressed support or sympathy for the movement, including the party's leader, Selana Tosem.

While the movement has existed since the fall of the monarchy, it came to prominence within Murserist culture after the 1978 Irlabat secession attempt. Because of this, Irlabat is often considered to be primary candidate for a Murserist state, but there exists smaller factions that support a mass pilgrimage to Kalaal, where the religion was founded by Mursa Kolaan, and establishing a state there.

History[]

The origins of Murserist domanism can be traced back to the conversion of June I. He made Murserism Lurberas' state religion and imposed penalties on people unwilling to convert. Lurberas remained a Murserist state until the monarchy was abolished in 1879. The movement began taking shape shortly after but it was not until 1978 did it become taken seriously by mainstream Murserist culture.

Branches[]

Several branches of Murserist domainism exist. The Kaalalists, for example, support a mass pilgrimage to Kalaal, Mursa Kolaan's homeland, and creating a Murserist state there. Monarchists support restoring the Lurberan monarchy while the sectionalists support Irlabati independence. All these branches have some overlap between them.
