Overseas areas of Mariana refer to possessions of Mariana located outside of <<continental>> Mariana. Comprised of overseas territories and special municipalities in the Caribbean sea and North Africa, all date back to quite a few centuries.

Overseas territories are largely self-governing territories. They are politically independent, instead of having representation in Mariana's congress. Defense, trade, foreign and economic affairs are handled by Mariana. The overseas territories are:
Special municipalities[]
There are two special municipalities, Desiry and Tenes. Essentially, they function like any other municipality in Mariana, but have one representative in Mariana's congress, giving them the greatest representation per capita in government.
