The Presidential Guard Service (PGS) (known as The 'Paulets'), formed in 1885, is a branch of The Waves National Police Service, governed by the Again Home Forces. Protection of Presidential residencies, office buildings and embassies and providing protection for visiting heads of state and government.
Due to its responsibilities, the PGS is an armed branch, with most of its officers being Certified Firearms Officers.
The regiment's informal named derives from the Marquess of Winchester. The traditional uniforms and emblem of the Presidential Guard are inspired by the colours and livery of the Marquess. The PGS is the only unit of the Agian Military to wear black and gold ceremonial uniforms.The force carries Winchester’s Old French motto ‘Aymez Loyaulté’, meaning ‘Love loyalty’ – an appropriate maxim for the dedicated unit.

The Presidential Guard contains two battalions; the PGS-01 (Protocol Unit) and PGS-02 (Security) with their headquarters both at Winchester Street, Rockington. , is a center for training in various areas of specialization such as assault, support, personal protection, first aid, etc.

Ranks and Ensignia[]
Cadets enter the service through enrollment at the Agian Home Forces Formation School and receive training as freshman cadets in the Agian Police Force. Upon completing the first year of their training, cadets are selected for entrance to the PGS, based on performance, personality traits and application. From this point onwards, cadets are assigned directly to the PGS to complete their junior and senior cadet training.
