Red Base 1 (Red Base One or Red Base) was the first ever off-Earth humanly populated facility in history. Today it is a museum on the Mars Colony. The base was constructed by the United States of America's space agency, NASA, in December of 2025. The mission of the base was to study the then newly found extraterrestrial species on Mars. Later, the base was used by several companies mining on Mars as a barracks.

Today Edit

Today, the base is still being maintained and used as a historical museum. The museum exhibits mostly ancient space technology and documentation. The proof of the USS New Discoveries' existence is kept here, along with the preserved remains of Commander Heinrich Burton. The base is located a few kilometers outside of the Mars Colony Proper. Substitutes for the base include Red Base 2 through Red Base 6.
