Anning, originally known as Serenity, is the largest city on the planet of Venus, and serves as the capital of the colony. Established in 2073 before terraforming was officially completed, and named after the first ark ship to Venus. Today Anning is a booming metropolitan hub, known for its parks with traditional Asian Influence. Serenity is located inland, at the beginning of the Trident River.
Anning has some of the most prestigious educational institutes in the Continuum, aswell as the Venusian Art Museum, which most famously hosts the Venus de Milo, after it was taken off-world to further preserve it. Anning is considered a developed city, however as with all cities one can find a small slum population.
