TV4, also known as Four, is a commercial public service broadcaster in Wessex and Cornwall. Launched in 1978 to provide competition to the WBC. TV4 is named after its channel allocation slot, 104. 

TV4 now operates two television channels, TV4 and TV4+1. TV4 is broadcasts an array of original programming produced by TV4, and imported programming. TV4 broadcasts news and weather, reality TV, sports, entertainment TV, and films.

Programming

TV4 imports alot of its programming, however does also produce a fair amount itself, but does however pride itself as being one of the largest broadcasters of British television in Wessex and Cornwall. Imported programs are predominantly from Great Britain. Alot of TV4's programming is aimed at the older to middle aged brackets.
