The Continent of Tameria
NEW MINI-PROJECT? GAME? CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT.
Some role play for those minds stuck to HBO's Game of Thrones. You can write as much as you want, but the main focus is role playing. We will build a semi-confederate kingdom. Don't worry, you'll do whatever you want; just don't do anything that will threaten the central king. Want to wage war on your neighbor? Go ahead. Build a culture! An army!
The day you enter the game, you will make a post, by your rulers, generals, people. Someone in your kingdom built a sculpture painted a painting; post. Oh a local brothel was raided by your men; post. You just knighted a local farm boy; post. ONE RL DAY= A MONTH. Thus, 1.25 hour in RL = one day in game. Talk to me below about anything, everything, why you hate it, why you love it, anything.
Also,I'm the central authority, the Kingdoms 'King'. You will be the individual confederate governments rulers, whatever title you want. You can dethrone me, but I will still and always will have the authority to be the 'moderator'. Don't worry if you see me with prejudice bring it too my attention and tell me why what I did was bullshit.
I like the premise and concept but not the times. As I've always stated, I cannot get involved with something if 1 day isn't 1 day, etc. Most of our RP will take place in history regardless, so ideally we should just decide what date it is right now and put it in stone, and progress from that in real time when we feel like it. You should also define the magic and techological etc. parameters of this game to avoid someone saying "shazam" destroying the other guy's kingdom.
It takes months for an army to mobilize, and are we really going to wait half a year for that to happen. What do you mean "and progress from that in real time when we feel like it.", saying that we should speed up time when we all consent to it? ---Sunkist- (talk) 17:47, April 13, 2014 (UTC)
Basically like it worked in The Elysian Project (and not the reason for it dying). We choose a current date and time progresses one day at a time from there. But in the meantime we develop our history. So all our past wars would have already been fought, with armies taking their time to mobilize. Wars happening now, in real time, will usually be rare in a non-Earth project like this, unless we've completely developed our history, which is impossible. -Signed by Warmonkey (talk • contribs) 18:39, April 13, 2014 (UTC)
