The United States presidential election of 2024 was the 62nd quadrennial presidential election. It was held on Tuesday, November 2, 2032. The Senator for Texas George P. Bush, the Republican candidate, was elected against Governor Anthony Adams of West Virginia, the Democratic candidate.

Bush (the nephew to former President George W. Bush) was the leading candidate after a close second place showing in the 2028 Republican primaries. The Democratic party was far more fractured however, the conservative and liberal factions choosing the compromise dark horse candidate Anthony Adams from West Virginia after the incumbent President and Vice President (Donald Coleman and Will Sparkaman) refused to run for office.

Running on a platform that took advantage the lagging financial condition under President Coleman and the Democratic Congress, Senator Bush succeeded in swinging enough voters towards his more moderate plans for the nation's economy.

Adams on the other hand experienced extended problems in his "southern strategy" which called for winning over several key southern states whilst ignoring the solidly Democratic north. This resulted in the erosion of support in the traditionally Democratic north (which ultimately contributed to his opponents election), but also succeeded in winning over the states of Georgia and West Virginia, both of which hadn't voted Democratic since 1992 and 1996 respectively.
