Well, I wanted to talk you about the Ivalice Flag. I think you should make the color and the motif without outline. It doesn't look good.

And also, I think Ivalice fits the format to join Nearly Real World.

Also, just curious, but why was 1968 chosen as the date of the Treaty? I have a little dilemma that my country was, like, radical communist at the time. This wasn't just a communist majority; it was a total dictatorship. Maybe a date like 1950-1958 (before the communist government passed the Second Five-Year Plan) would be better, and it would help out the black-and-white picture. About surnames: Maybe in Ivalice, but many other countries use compound names equally. That doesn't matter now.

I just thought on something like Heigard and Ivalice being "underrepresented" in the UN because they weren't seeing improvements in general welfare, so first decided to quit the UN but later thought on creating a parallel and "less crowded" organization of their own. Yarphei InformationEdit

I think it's about time to start another war, lol. I have the Second Falklands War on my mind about now.

So Yarphei invades the Falkland Islands (well it already has, on 11 January), and Britain doesn't find out for two weeks because all the radio signals are shut off. They find out on 31 January when a bunch of flights from MPN, Mount Pleasant Airport, go missing. From there Britain sends Her Majesty's Army to reclaim the islands, and Britain declares war. Fighting takes place on the Falkland Islands for a week, before a separate part of the Vietnamese Liberation Army (the Yarphese armed forces, not the Vietnam People's Army, lol) invades the base in British East Indian Ocean Territory on 6 January. After that, the British starts a naval war in the Indian Ocean, before it eventually spreads to Europe, in addition to the land battles in the Falkland Islands. That should take you up to when I can resume ownership on 8 January. Be creative. In the mean time, you can also build up articles on Yarphei's military (but keep the military statistics from the Yarphei Demographics page the same, including the disclosed ones). You can also get other blank or FW nations into the Second Falklands War.

Work on the mainland Yarphei if you want, since, with the world's third or fourth-largest army (depending on the size of the EAF's army), there shouldn't be too much of a difference in the Yarphese lifestyle, besides the millions of war propaganda posters.

And about the Yarphese language, it shouldn't be extremely hard (it was engineered to be simple, and took me about two minutes to think up the grammar, besides). You can make up words as you go, I'm fine with that. For names, the names are just like most Chinese/Korean names. One syllable for a surname, and then two for a given name i.e. Tranh Chup-yar. The names also have meanings, but you don't have to worry about them. For cities, etc., just use two-syllable names, usually based off the cities' former names in the real world. They are usually in the form adjective-noun.

Other than for names/place names, it's pretty simple. Make up words as you go. Verbs and adjectives always have dots under the vowels, while nouns never have dots. When an noun is used as an adjective, a verb as a noun, or an adjective as a noun, use the second type in each case (adjective, noun, noun, respectively). Phrase short noun phrases like you would in English. If you want to write sentences, you can see the conlang wikia page for how to construct them.

Tips on Word Creation: 1) pick any consonant from here. 2) you may put y, w, r, or l after c, k, p, t, or q. 3) choose vowel from here (yes, f is part of some vowel conjunctions). 4) put a tone mark on each vowel. 5) put a dot under each vowel if applicable. 6) chose exactly one final consonant if applicable.

Where to find words examples:

• The Yarphese Pledge
• Yarphei Demographics - the provinces, as you may notice, are numbered. The ones ending in "gò" have the *Yarphese number corresponding to the numeral; also the Yarphese names of Saigon, Bangkok, Kuala Terengganu, and Singapore are the names of provinces
• Basically Every Article about Yarphei
• If you find you have to use a word that you see somewhere, but you can't find the Yarphese word, i.e. finding a word in the Yarphese Pledge, English version, but you can't find it in the Yarphese translation, then make a new word up for the time being, and that can be addressed later

Just some rules, mostly common sense:

• don't do anything extremely historical outside the Second Falkland Islands War (i.e. major laws, protests, etc.)
• do not change anything huge about the country that's already in articles

It was really difficult due to the size of the Falkland Islands, so the VLA had to land at many locations simultanously.

VLA landings took place around midnight, 11 January.

East Island:

1) Mare Harbor, secured Choiseul Sound, marched inland to take over RAF Mount Pleasant Airport

2) South coast of Berkley Sound, marched south to surround Stanley and the Falkland Islands Radio Station to shut it off

3) Speedwell Island, Sea Lion Islands, Great Island set up military bases on all three, used to control strategic straits, etc.

4) At the northwest coast of Adventure Sound, marched to set up high ground base in Central Lafonia, some armies marched along the coast to take control of all settlements, one particular army marched to goose green to cut of Lafonia

5) Air force landing at Mount Pleasant MPN

West Island:

6) Fox Bay, captured airfield

7) coast of North Falkland Sound to secure the Falkland sound

8) south of Port Howard, marched north to build a high-ground base

9) Jason Islands, Westpoint Islands, New Island

10) Calm Head

British Landings (take place on 2 February, come from several British Overseas Territories):

11) Bleaker Island, some went in boats to Lafonia

12) Port Fitzroy, marched towards Stanley, others set up base near Wickham heights, from there some marched toward the Mt. Pleasant Base

13) This is a start, but later a lot more submarines and ships come from other naval bases, i.e. sumbarines arrive by 9 February from Great Britain, but that's later, once the war develops more

I forgot to mention, it would be sorta interesting to throw in some of Yarphei's weather control, i.e. 80° temperatures with humidity. Of course it's winter in the UK, so they wouldn't be used to it, giving the VLA, who are used to that kind of temperature (and brought appropriate clothing), an advantage. I can't think of a reason why Argentina would get into the war right now, but if a good opportunity for Argentina comes up further down the road, you could make it a three-sided war. Okay. The motives include:

1) to gain access to the southern Atlantic Ocean

2) to use several ports for international commerce and trade to boost the economy

3) to get better access to Yarphese Antarctic Territory

4) to settle the area and use its mineral resources

5) just another addition to Yarphei (wasn't all of Yarphei created by invasion?)

And about Europe, I would say mostly in Great Britain (attacking London is a little bit far lol), but if there are other European countries involved for whatever reason, there might be some battles in those countries. I don't ask for too much for Lxungion because "Lxawon Lxungion" as you can observe on my page, but if there is something that happens in NRW, don't leave me out. Just think crazy independent nation that voted and barely voted to join the United Nations and the GTO by under a 1% margin, and would hardly mind if the internet was shut off and replaced with Lxung intranet. I would request you don't create new articles because I have stuff in mind that's not too explicitly stated on the page, but keep Lxungion updated.

And for the GYR, do what you want with articles, etc. As it is a quasi-well-fleshed-out world, I don't have too much hidden in my mind. Develop the articles, and use the above principles. I'll say you can go ahead launch space probes, and acquire yellow pixels. Keep Yarphei updated in CEAS and AFTA, and send the terraforming mission to Deimos in April. I just ask that you not work on the history. Here is my yellow pixel list:

Wroclaw, Poland in return for full access to the invention of MQB (this is kept secret) and no tariffs on trade from 3-20 city

That's difficult. Naturally Yarphei would try to create peace (see national motto) to keep the CEAS strong. If the PRC tries to reclaim Taipei, Yarphei will put forces there.This is just a side note, but will the EAF use Hanyu Pinyin? Because that would make Taipei into Taibei.

As for the Cantonese Republic, it's going pretty slowly, but it'll come along eventually. We'll try to make it a clean entry so that it forms after the war (i.e. it didn't form in 1964). Just to let you know, it will contain what's left of Vietnam, Laos, and California (you heard me right). Also, I think the formation will be peaceful, not by invasion.

What exactly do you want to know about the language? I can tell you that it's written with traditional Chinese in formal situations and otherwise just Latin. It's mostly a mix between Korean and Chinese by pronunciation. Observe:

My Tech Edit

The power suits I was using against Yarphei are nothing like what Taiping used. They are more like master chief than, say, iron man, in that they just make hand-to-hand combat more devastating for my side; they only enhance strength and speed and don't use anti-gravity related tech at all, which btw FGC refuses to use. Can I use the drop pods? ever since i saw them in alien vs predator, i thought they were the coolest thing. and with kinetic kill, if you have a high enough mass and a high enough velocity, they can be as devastating as any other weapon. Im picking up all the threats, and if you read my pages, you would have stumbled across a mention of metamaterials being used for stealth. I will tell you the craft is not resistant to all forms of radiation, but obviously it is stealthy against radar, and luckily it was sheilded against gamma ray bursts. Huh. And yarphei's first burst in their radar system won't work. They would need a massive amount of power to extend gamma radiation that far. Thats why in RW there are no long range sensors that use gamma. Gamma is a high frequency, low wavelength radiation, and subsequently, it doesnt carry that energy far in sufficient amount unless being released from something like a supernova explosion. Just some technical advice for DK. thanks, but i know there is invisibility and radar-resistant material. i dont know how familiar you are with metamaterials, so i will fill you in. they basically make specific types of light radiation bend around them as if the metamaterial werent there; all nontarget radiations still interact with the metamaterial( a metamaterial meant for infrared would not shield against, say, x-rays). You can use combinations of metamaterials to shield against the different respective radiations, eg. IR and X-ray; visual light is impractical b/c there are so many necessary metamaterials that would need to be used in tandem, so im not after harry potter's invisibility cloak. I wont attack EAF or Sakhalia (sp) because you havent attacked me or any other western country, and its easier to deflect charged particles than destroy their source. also, the OIS buffer is a vital military target because DK is obviously going to invade russia, and that much territory is a huge advantage. add belgium, the headquarters of the EU, and other than me controling the european core states, he would basically have europe under his thumb to sign whatever treaty he wants the west to sign. such a threat would indeed push europe to unite against the common threat and federate, which has happened to the extent that i think would actually happen in reality. his strategy is obvious to me, what with the falklands as a beachhead into the atlantic. the ASA invasion is meant to distract everett, that or get a deathlock on north america. and i once more declare that such a power will not bully the western nations around.

In the case of the F-25, it is a jet fighter with limited space-going capabilities, specifically, the heat resistance and material integrity to allow it to exit the atmosphere for brief periods of time to take advantage of gravitational forces to move about the planet faster. That's a key part of claiming to be the most mobile air force in Future World.

Sure. There are two parts, the original system, and the cosketch addition. The Original System:

• Is a Google Docs spreadsheet
• Uses a series of resistance and weakness ratios to determine troop/vehicle/aircraft/unit effectiveness
• Can be customized with unique units
• Features a unit cap to ensure fairness
• Is well organized
• Is easy to understand (but then again, I wrote it so it's no doubt that I understand it.)

The CoSketch Addition:

• Essentially a map you draw on
• To determine locations of armies and battles, and things like that.

Minecraftian et al., it is in fact quite serious. Sockpuppeting is a bannable offence on Wikipedia as well as many Wikias because they can be used abusively in community votes, or to sway community opinion. Fair enough. The Yarphese capital has been moved to Saigon but the following territories are maintained: Khuayday Platform, Federal Islands (including TCYC), Singapore, Torres Strait, Falklands. North Austalia is maintained a two puppet states of Arnhem and Kimberley, but they are being chewed away. Subject to change. Yarphei still has a reasonable economy, but it is a lot smaller and more unstable. About half of the VLA in the lost territories returned to the Viet-Khmer areas, so there is no lack of defence. Basically what is needed to keep corporations stable.

Now that Yarphei is offiially collapsed to its "emergency territory," and the borders secure, things should slowly improve. The Gale Movement is planned for later this year, and once Yarphei is strong enough (which will be in a few years), it can start reannexing territory. You all aren't replacing Yarphei well. You're giving me what I have, but just need more of. I don't need high technology, I'm not a third-world country. China provides sufficient mineral resources to move industry forward.

I need FOOD. FOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Almost 500 million people to feed. A country made of mountains, with not much land devoted to agriculture. An entire region working its hardest to feed the other four regions, and yet, not meeting the mark. Food. Yarphei specializes in innovative agriculture, what with the vertical agriculture, and specially modified strains of crops, their ability to maximize the amount of food generated by a specific plot of land is unparalleled. The overfishing of waters in the exclusive economic zone of the EAF is not sustainable, and food sources will dwindle extremely quickly over the next half century. Don't be worried about for food 50 years from now, since the short incident with UFSA cutting off trade I have implemented new agricultural projects for growing fruit, vegetables, cocao, coffee in my Yucatan and Maya Coast states and expansion of grains and vegetable farming in the middle and western regions of Everett. I also have plenty of cattle (and milk), pork, chicken (and eggs) farms. I also have fishing industry in Alaska and my former Canadian states. I'd also recommend trade with the ASA being that it controls the majority of the Great Plains area. Okay, basically my needs are raw minerals, and general consumer goods. Everything in Yarphei was meant to be spread out, so Bangkok and Singapore would be severe losses. This includes high tech, random gadgets, furniture, appliances, and chemical and pharmaceutical industries. I think I'm okay on food, and I can keep exporting a pretty decent amount of food with the prosperous vertical farms of the Khmer Areas (the ones that haven't been destroyed by the Khmer Rouge) and the farms of the fertile Mekong River Delta are mostly still intact. WWIV Edit

I haven't completely gotten the methodology down of SCOSK, it's pretty unconventional, but really what better reason is there to declare war? It makes the people happier and it gives the army something to do. Besides, it helps Scoskers feel more omnipotent lol. I hope it doesn't get to that point but it would probably be major boycotts and stuff, and definitely some Daoist warfare (definite oxymoron but there are ways to concentrate unlucky spirits on places like banks and government buildings). To be honest I'm not exactly sure what I will do if the 168 hours pass in the way of military actions. It might be anything from trying to chase UFSA out of Nigeria to all-out invasion of the UFSA. I forget the details of SCOSK's military, but I think it's relatively small. I mean well, the entire population is smaller than half the VLA. What do you think? Everything Khmer or Vietnamese is salvaged. Expect regular flights from anywhere in the area, especially Saigon. Air service can continue as usual from the other airports (except maybe Singapore), but it will not be run by Yarphese people, if national security is a problem. I would back down on this, because auto manufacture is only one sector that East Asian companies provide jobs in. And your downsized Midwestern government can't afford a buyout of them all. Your national debt will increase to unsustainable levels. Not only that, but sales would not stop. The jobs would simply be moved out of the Special Territory to the Allied States at large, and cars sold inside of the Special Territory will be sold at a 40% premium to cover possible future costs of the tax. I was mentioned, so I am going to voice this out on the already started topic over here. Sunkist, I think you forgot that much of the money made by companies goes into operating facilities. In turn, about 40% of the revenue is actually spent on the people working for the company and its CEO. Say 10 Tonnes of coffee were being shipped from Maracaibo. The cost of that load is around, let's say, 20,000 USD. 2% would face tax from South America, as it is an export to a foreign country ($400). 30% would go to the US ($6,000). A local tax is then put on the import usually around 5% in South America at least ($1,000). The company would then make only $13,000 from that load. Now, it costs $1,000 to ship that (Now at $12,000). It costs 2,000 to pay the crew of that ship (10,000). It costs 5,000 to pay all involved in the shipping process from planting and up (5,000). A company now has to evenly spread the pay, ending up for the company executives earning about $80 each. You just made $80 for selling 20 tonnes of coffee. You didn't read deep enough into Future World history, but the KMT's return to the mainland was more amicable than it currently seems. Everett secured the mainland from CCP control, and the EAF transferred the KMT to the mainland for the eight provinces, and at the same time, incurring the debt of those provinces. The interesting part is that a large amount of these Wikia books are actually not inviolation of the specific Wikia user's copyrights but in violation of MAJOR media industry copyrights, selling books full of information from Wikis about movies, TV shows, music, etc. Wikia could easily suffer a massive LOLsuit from those dirty bastards at the MPAA and RIAA for this, effectively destroying this entire Wikia network including Conworlds Wiki, right here.

To chip in, I'd have no problem with a new world order however they tend to like the European Union: be corrupt with Bureaucrats receiving huge amounts of cash to further certain agenda, force a central idea of what is to be and never let a state within it be different (this is what has killed European economies such as Ireland, Portugal, Greece and Spain) and are normally in support of Orwellian ideas. European Union was invented to prevent a new european (world) war, or what is the same, to prevent Germany to become a threat. It was based in the cooperation between France and Germany (the core and most important nations) rounded by a group of nations basically "clients". Monitoring all the Union from the Islands, the british never wanted to be inside but they didnt want to let France and Germany without control.

Under this equilibrium, Union have been existed with a good ratio of success for decades. The current economic crisis has modiffied the equilibrium. France is far from the past glory and Germany has become more powerful in the last years. Economy is the new weapon and Germany is not interested in maintain the actual Union becouse its natural market and objetive is the east; Russia and what is between Germany and Russia.

US Congress Edit

I'm currently struggling to complete my "how bills become law" part of my legislature. I just wanna know, if someone wakes up one day in the US, goes to his desk, writes a bill, and sends it to Congress, must each of the ump-amount of Congressmen leave what they are doing, get on the earliest flight to D.C., vote on the bill, then go back home? It makes little sense to me. Congressfolk usually stay up here during the week and go back for weekends and campaign events. A lot of them have second houses or apartments in the area, or, like the hardcore ones, sleep in their offices. If they can't make a vote, they can have their aides stand in for them, or not vote. After a period of debate designated by the leadership, bills are called for a vote. Votes are scheduled in advance so they can plan out their calendars. That's not how it works. The congressperson usually has offices in the home district where constituents go to get their problems addressed. Either the office staff can help the constituent or pass it on to the congressperson so he or she can deal with it and then get back to the constituent. You can also call any of the home district offices or the DC office; the Congress phone numbers and email addresses are public. A lot of them also have twitter and Facebook accounts.

Pissy Air Force InformationEdit

I need your help. I am an idiot about military none sense, and I have no idea how any of them operate. I could scour infinite pages of information on Wikipedia about various European air forces, but I think I need you to explain it all to me in English. I already have the structure sorted out, so what I want to know is maintenance. How much space do you need to store 160 planes? How much space do you need for support vehicles? Uh. Aircraft can be stored outside, on the tarmac. Hangars are for maintenance and long-term storage, but keeping fighters and actively-used things outside is fine. What d'ya mean by bunker system? Barracks are as large as you make them, really. They vary in size. Think of them as big apartments. They have cafeterias, bedrooms, bathrooms, things like that. I'll go by question to make it easier. So, I need to put my planes inside during winter, so 4 per hanger would be 40 hangers and that is about k10k per hanger.
