Vaastväk International Airport (Icelandic: Vaastväk Alþjóðaflugvöllurinn) (IATA:VAA, ICAO: BRVK) is an international airport located in Vaastväk, Kobidar. It is one of the largest airports in Kobidar, and serves the majority of the country's internstional flights.
Construction for VIA initially started in the summer of 1957 and ended in 1968.
VIA has 4 terminals. Terminal 1 serves as a hub for the Scandinavian based airlines, including: Icelandair, Finnair, Blue 1, WOW air and Scandinavian Airlines. Terminal 2 is a hub for the three Kobin based airlines: AirVaast, Kobin Airlines and Air Kobidar. Terminal 3 is a hub for European and American based airlines, like Air France. Terminal 4 is used for low-cost airlines and Charter Airlines.
Terminal 1 was the first terminal built in the airport, and served as the only terminal until 1978. It is used as a hub for Scandinavian based airlines, as it originally only made flights to Iceland.
Terminal 2 was built in 1978, and it's only purpose is for domestic flights throughout Kobidar.
