The Western Blue Line (Rockallian: Líne Góirm na Siar, Astrallic: Leaoinne Glóibhuais nan Siúbhaoirr or Liôny Glísi nyn Siẇr, Fernolian: Line Gláis na Thiair) or Western Line (Líne hÓ Siar, Leaoinne a' Siúbhaoirrdh or Liôny a'Siẇr, Line hÓ Thiair), also known as the Baronetcies' Line (Líne na nBháiruinneatteachda, Leaoinne na Bháiriúinneailleadhtheachda or Liôny ny Bhârynyltychty, Line na Bárúntichta) is a Rockallic train line between Stáition Céintrall nan Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine in the Rockallic Federal District and Iuachshtéigh Séoinnt i Nuardhtheaobhoinn in Nuardhtheaobhoinn, the capital of An Móir Leautheinn, serving Rockall's south and west coast, connecting An Móir Leautheinn with An Thir na tÁirdteachd, An Uinnia and the Rockallic Federal District.

The Western Blue Line is the longest train line in Rockall, regardless of whether or not you count it to be contiguous with the Eastern Blue Line.

Route[]

The Western Blue Line follows the South Coast Line and the West Coast Line, as well as a couple of miles on the North Coast Line. It has 13 intercity stations.

From An Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine, the stations the Western Blue Line calls at are:

  • Stáition Céintrall nan Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine (intercity), located in the north of Báiruinteachd na nBhá nan Éirith Ghréine. From here, trains run over an elevated train track through urban landscape of An Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine over an elevated track until they arrive at:
  • An Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine Sríad na hIòbhanna, located at the Sríad na hIòbhanna in the Báiruinteachd na nBhá nan Éirith Ghréine. From here, trains continue in a westward turn through the urban areas of An Iméallean na nCháteair until they arrive at:
  • An Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine An Iméallean na nCháteair, located in the baronetcy of An Iméallean na nCháteair. From here, trains initially continue at-grade in the slopes of Iméallean na nCháteair before continuing over an elevated viaduct above the urban areas of the baronetcy of Iònnegéadhna until they arrive at:
  • An Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine Iònnegéadhna hÓ Siar, located in the western part of the baronetcy of Iònnegéadhna. From here, trains continue over an elevated train track through the urban areas of Iònnegéadhna and Géadhn until they call at:
  • Géadhn Ó Nuardh (intercity), located in the northern part of the baronetcy of Géadhn. From here, trains split from the Red Line and turn sharply westwards through the urban area of Géadhn until they call at:
  • Géadhn Ó Siar agus Áirdteachd, located on the border between the Rockallic Federal District and An Uinnia, serving the westernmost part of Géadhn and the southernmost part of the baronetcy of Áirdteachd, near the village of Leighan. From here, trains continue along the southern shore of Loch Ghéighdhain in a southwestward direction, running through the urban area of the eponymous city until they call at:
  • Loch Ghéighdhain (intercity), a city located on the southwestern shores of Loch Ghéighdhain. From here, trains continue further southwestwards and enter the An Uinnia Rainforest, running along the northwestern shores of Loch Ghluise until they arrive at:
  • Loch Ghluise, a village located along the westernmost shores of Loch Ghluise, surrounded by the An Uinnia Rainforest. From here, trains continue in a more wesward direction through the rainforest until they arrive at:
  • Bann Báis, a small town located on the border between the An Uinnia Rainforest and the Dunes of Rockall. From here, trains continue eastwards through the dunelands and later the urban area of An Bhá na nDhiábhaille for approximately 14 miles before turning sharply southwestwards and calling at:
  • An Bhá na nDhiábhaille (intercity), located in An Bhá na nDhiábhaille City Centre near the Bhá na nDhiábhaille. From here, trains continue on a lowered track through the urban areas of Bhá na nDhiábhaille before continuing at normal level through the dunelands in a south-southwestward direction until they arrive at:
  • Géadhna na nGaoidh, a small village located on the border between the Dunes of Rockall and the Southern Rainforests. From here, trains gradually turn more southwestwards through the Southern Rainforests and the Eastern City of Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr before calling at:
  • Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr Ó hOirthear (intercity), located in the Eastern City of Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr. From here, trains continue turning gradually further westward through the urban area of the Eastern City of Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr before crossing the Áibhan Eoighearr estuary over a 0.6 miles long bridge and going through the urban area of the Western City of Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr, where they call at:
  • Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr Ó Siar, located in the Western City of Innéair Áibhan Eoighearr. From here, trains continue gradually further westward through the Southern Rainforest and through the Coastal Quarters of Cóista na nChátha in the southern half of the baronetcy of Íseuch na nLóda before arriving at:
  • Cáthgheadhna agus Íseuch na nLóda (intercity), located directly on the border between the baronetcies of Íseuch na nLóda and Cáthgheadhna, serving both the towns of Cáthgheadhna and Cóista na nChátha. From here, trains continue in a westward direction through the Coastal Quarters of Cáthgheadhna and Cáite until they arrive at:
  • Innéair Áibhan Néuibhaghairra, a train station consisting of two separate platforms located at either side of the Áibhan Néuibhaghairra estuary and serving both the towns of Cáite and An Dúinne. Trains initially stop at the eastern (or Cáite) side of the estuary, then cross the estuary over a 0.4 mile long bridge, before stopping at the western (or An Dúinne) side of the estuary. From there, trains continue through the urban area of An Dúinne before continuing through the Southern Rainforests and arriving at:
  • Dúinn Geadhnéigh, a seaside village located on the border between the Southern Rainforests and the Bhá Góirm grasslands. From here, trains turn more southwestwards along the grassy coast until they call at:
  • Dúinn na nFhéaia, a seaside village located in the Bhá Góirm grasslands. From here, trains continue westwards through a tidal creek landscape until they arrive at:
  • Créic Córchrais, a village located along the sides of the Créic Córchrais, the largest of all the tidal creeks located within the Créica na Lóimhaoigho system in the baronetcy with the same name. From here, trains turn in a northwestward direction through the tidal creek landscape and across the Déichréica Ridge into another tidal creek landscape until they arrive at:
  • An Chréica na nBhláitha, a village located in the Créica na nBhláitha system in the baronetcy with the same name. From here, trains first continue further into a northwestward direction before turning westward into the urban areas of An Bhá Góirm and turning southwestward until they call at:
  • An Bhá Góirm (intercity), located at the northernmost reach of the Bhá Góirm. From here, trains climb approximately 250 metres over approximately five miles, where they split from the Yellow Line and turn sharply northwestwards into the Tàinneail na Meaoirr for approximately 10 miles until they exit into the Western Rainforests and call at:
  • An Bhá na nÉainna, a village located on the border between the Meoirr and the Western Rainforests, on the Oidhuitheal Plateau. From here, trains continue through the Western Rainforests in a northwestward direction until they arrive at:
  • Srúidhghid nan Éainn, a village located in the Western Rainforests on the Éainna Ridge between the Atlantic Ocean on the western side and the Gléaoinne Eidinne on the eastern side. From here, trains turn northward and descend to approximately 250 metres above sea level over the Éainna Ridge until they call at:
  • Eaighdhall Báis, a village located in the Western Rainforests on the Éainna Ridge. From here, trains turn northwestwards and descend to approximately 140 metres above sea level over the Éainna Ridge until they call at:
  • Áirdteachd, a village located approximately 130 metres higher than Íseuchtheachd, situated on the Éainna Ridge. From here, trains continue in a northwestward direction and descend the last 130 metres over approximately three miles on the Éainna Ridge, running another three miles through the urban area of Íseuchtheachd, crossing the Áibhan Áideann before calling at:
  • Íseuchtheachd railway station (intercity), a small city located at the mouth of the Áibhan Áideann. From here, trains continue through the Coastal Quarters of Íseuchtheachd for approximately 2.5 miles until they arrive at:
  • Teoubhnoigheadhtheauill (Tawnyiyl), a small community that is contiguous with both Íseuchtheachd and Cuauibhnedgeaibhdh. From here, trains continue approximately one mile further northwestwards through the southern part of the city of Cuauibhnedgeaibhdh until they call at:
  • Cuauibhnedgeaibhdh a’ dTóigaist (Cwny bh-a'Dôgyst) (intercity), located in the south of the coastal city of Cuauibhnedgeaibhdh. From here, trains turn north-northwestwards and enter the Deoibhaineall na Chuauibhnedgeaibhdh Tunnel (Dwne ny Cwny) running underneath the city for approximately two miles, before emerging and arriving at:
  • Cuauibhnedgeaibhdh a’ Nuardh (Cwny bh-a'Nẇr), located in the north of the coastal city oof Cuauibhnedgeaibhdh. From here, trains continue approximately two miles further north-northwestwards through the urban areas of Cuauibhnedgeaibhd and Láindeairn until they eventually call at:
  • Láindeairn Ó Dhéase (intercity), located in the south of the coastal city of Láindeairn. From here, trains continue approximately two miles further north-northwestwards across the Áibhan Láindeairnoig and through the urban area of Láindeairn until they arrive at:
  • Láindeairn Ó Nuarth, located in the north of the coastal city of Láindeairn. From here, continue approximately two miles further north-northwestwards through the urban area of Láindeairn before turning north and continuing through the Western Rainforests for one mile, after which they continue through the Leibh grasslands for one mile before they call at:
  • Íseuch na nEaighdhalla, a village located on the south bank of the Áibhan Leibh in the the Leibh grasslands. From here, trains continue approximately two miles northwards, crossing the Euimm dTreoinnechuibhall through the grasslands until they arrive at:
  • Éaichteoirr ag i n-an Lóda, a village located on the north bank of the Áibhan Leibh in the Leibh grasslands. From here, trains gradually turn north-northwestwards again back into the Western Rainforests, until two miles later they arrive at:
  • Innéair Áibhanneaigh na Srí Srúidhghida, a village located at the mouth of the Áibhanneaigh na Srí Srúidhghida. From here, trains cross the Áibhanneaigh na Srí Srúidhghida and continue in a north-northwestward curve through the Western Rainforests for approximately 20 miles before they arrive at:
  • An Doiréoidh na nGéailgnuigha, a small seaside resort. From here, trains continue approximately 4.5 miles northwards. From here, trains continue northwards for approximately 8 miles through the Western Rainforests, crossing the Óibh Úisilt and running through the Innir tÓibh na tÍseacha neighbourhood of Íseach Dhinear until they arrive at:
  • Íseach Dhinear Innir tÓibh na tÍseacha, located in the Innir tÓibh na tÍseacha neighbourhood of Íseach Dhinear. From here, trains continue northwards through the urban area of Íseach Dhinear, crossing the Óibh na tÍseacha before climbing along the side of Gleoin na tÍseacha for approximately six miles before arriving at:
  • Íseach Dhinear Táirteall tÓibh na tÍseacha, located in the Táirteall tÓibh na tÍseacha neighbourhood of Íseach Dhinear, near the source of the Óibh na tÍseacha. From here, trains continue northwards through the Western Rainforests for approximately five miles until they call at:
  • Gáirdh úinn Cóste tÓ Thiair, a village located in the Gáirdh. From here, trains continue northwards through the Western Rainforests for approximately 16 miles before calling at:
  • Nóisgólaibh agus Méasa t-úinn Cóste tÓ Thiair, a train station serving both the villages of Nóisgólaibh and Méasa t-úinn Cóste tÓ Thiair in their eponymous baronetcies. From here, trains continue through the Western Rainforests for approximately five miles, then cross the Euimm na Mheaiseasa (Úm ny Fîsiysy) and continue for approximately one mile before calling at:
  • Ceaithuairr Eoubhainnachanna (Cîr Iwbhanychyna), a small town located at the north bank of the Euimm na Mheaiseasa in the Western Rainforests. From here, trains continue in a northeastward direction through the rainforests for five miles until they arrive:
  • Gleoinnenáirdteachd (Glawnortycht), a village located at the western edge of the Gleoinneseachteachd Agricultural Area (Glawnsiytycht). From here, trains continue northwestwards, initially through the Western Rainforests but later through the urban area of Peuibhneachall, until they call at:
  • Peuibhneachall (Pwnyl) (intercity), a city located at the southwestern side of the Beuibhneith Ghreauibhainnogh (Biunth Chrynych). From here, trains continue in a southwestward direction for approximately 13 miles, initially through the urban area of Peuibhneachall and later through the Western Forests, until turning eastwards and joining the Green Line at the northwestern corner of the Beuibhneith Ghreauibhainnogh. Trains run approximately 10 miles further on an elevated train viaduct until they arrive at:
  • Iuachshtéigh Séoinnt i Nuardhtheaobhoinn (Iwghtic Siûnt i Nẃrghón) ( (intercity), located in Nuardhtheaoibhoinn City Centre.

Stations between Stáition Céintrall nan Bhá nan Éirith Ghréine and An Bhá Góirm are also called at by trains of the Yellow Line.
